Ortus Recruitment are working alongside a mainstream Primary School situated in London Borough of Brent, that provides a safe and inclusive learning environment for children from 3-11 years old. It is a vibrant and welcoming school that prides itself on raising attainment regardless of background or ability and is known for having supportive and friendly staff.

We are recruiting a graduate Teaching Assistant who has experience working with SEN children. The ideal individual must be proactive, assertive and able to build and maintain excellent rapports with staff and students.

Main Expectations:

• 3-6 months experience working with SEN children
• Minimum 2:2 grade in relevant degree e.g. psychology, English, mathematics or childhood studies
• Adept numeracy/literacy skills
• Must be able to provide: an enhanced DBS (or willing to apply for one through Ortus Recruitment), proof of Right to Work in the UK and 2 references
