The school is looking for a reliable and proactive individual to take on the fulfilling role of Teaching Assistant supporting amongst KS1. The Teaching Assistant will be responsible for working on a 1:1 basis with pupils who have additional social, emotional and mental health needs.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone passionate about learning and development, looking to gain more experience within a school environment, with the potential to join the school’s Teacher Training programme, if deemed the ideal candidate.

Teaching Assistant Expectations:

• 3-6 months classroom experience
• Minimum 2:2 grade in relevant degree e.g. psychology or educational studies
• Strong literacy, numeracy and communication skills
• Must be able to provide: an enhanced DBS (or willing to apply for one), proof of Right to Work in the UK and 2 references

Teaching Assistant Job Details:

• SEMH Teaching Assistant role
• Immediate Start
• Long-term and full-time
• Daily rate of £70 – £85 per day
• Located in London Borough of Barnet
