Ortus Recruitment are working with an Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’, 4-form entry Primary School in Ealing – a lovely, diverse area of West London with Ealing Broadway station and an abundance of bus route links a short walk away.

The school is looking take on an assertive and confident Behaviour Mentor to support within a mainstream reception class. You will be assisting the Teacher in managing classroom behaviour, supervise playtime and work on a 1:1 basis with a child with challenging behaviour and in small groups to lead interventions.

Main Expectations:

• 3+ months experience supporting in the classroom
• 3+ months SEN experience
• Have a minimum 2:2 degree in a relevant subject e.g. psychology or education
• Strong communication skills
• Must be able to provide: an enhanced DBS (or willing to apply for one through Ortus Recruitment), proof of Right to Work in the UK and 2 references
