Year 2 Teaching Assistant | Twickenham – Richmond Upon Thames | KS1

If you have a passion for working with children and aiding them with their development then this is a great opportunity for you. There is currently a vacancy for a Teaching Assistant role in a Year 2 class at a local school.

The school, located in the Twickenham – Richmond LEA, are looking for a motivated individual who can adjust well into the classroom setting and can have a positive impact on the students that they interact with. They offer a vast range of extra-curricular activities and facilities for both students and staff to use. There is an enthusiastic team of staff led by the SLT that all thrive in providing the students with the best possible experience.

The role:

– Supporting students inside and outside the classroom

– Helping students with their studies during lessons

– Monitoring those in the class to identify if anyone may need additional support

– Being a part of the school community

This role is a full time long term role, so the applicant needs to be available Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4pm. Two references from previous employers will also need to be provided. Previous experience in the education sector isn’t required but you will need experience with children in order to apply. The individual should be eager to help out and learn so good knowledge of the KS1 will be needed to provide the best possible support.
