SEN Teaching Assistant Job Details:

• EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant
• Immediate Start
• Long-term and full-time
• Daily rate of £75 – £90 per day
• Located in London Borough of Barnet
• Potential for career progression and teacher training in partnership with the school

The SEN Teaching Assistant will provide support in a classroom setting by effectively managing behaviour, keeping the classroom organised and working on a 1:1 basis with a non-verbal child with ASD and another child who has ASD and displays challenging behaviours.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to progress within a school setting and gain invaluable experience working alongside a motivating Senior Leadership Team, with the potential to become permanent and/or go on to do Teacher Training in partnership with the school.

The successful individual will:

• Be patient, empathetic and proactive
• Manage behaviour effectively
• Promote positive social, emotional and personal development
• Have experience working with children with SEN
• Have a strong acedemic background – Level 3 qualified or Degree educated

Must be able to provide: an enhanced DBS (or willing to apply for one through Ortus Recruitment), proof of Right to Work in the UK and 2 references
