KS2 Teaching Assistant | Behaviour Support | Brixton Hill | Full Time

A fantastic and modern Primary School is currently looking to recruit an experienced KS2 Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with children who have Emotional Behavioural Difficulties to help support the children with their early development.

This KS2 Teaching Assistant opportunity will allow you to work with a range of children, including children with SEN, alongside professionals such as the SENCO and Therapists.

The Primary School is very inclusive and has a welcoming team of support staff who promote a friendly and positive learning environment. You will have the opportunity to learn skills and knowledge needed for a successful career within education.

If you are a graduate looking for classroom experience before going on to teacher training or further education, this is the perfect KS2 Teaching Assistant role for you.

The ideal candidate will:

• Degrees in Maths, English, Sciences, Psychology, Education, Drama and Performing Arts are ideal, but we welcome applicants with degrees beyond this or relevant qualifications for working with children
• Have experience working with children/ young people, e.g., Youth Work | Mentoring | Tutoring | Childcare | Voluntarily
• Be friendly, confident, outgoing, reliable and be a positive role model
• A genuine interest and passion for supporting young vulnerable pupil
• Be available full-time (Monday-Friday 8.30am-4pm)
• Available for Immediate Start
