Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Croydon

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Croydon. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, students, and parents to support the education and well-being of children in our primary school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting teachers in the classroom and providing one-on-one support to students
• Supporting the development of classroom activities and materials
• Supervising small groups of students during class activities and helping them with classwork and homework
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Supporting with the administrative work and communication with parents.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A minimum of a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification
• Experience working with children in a primary school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
• Team player and a positive attitude
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly in Word and Excel
