Ortus Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join one of our partnered mainstream primary schools located in Brixton. Our partnered school has received a “Good” rating from Ofsted and is looking for a forward-thinking candidate to become part of their growing team and contribute to their future success. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 4:00pm.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A creative and dynamic approach to teaching and learning
• Strong team-working abilities
• Excellent time management and attendance records
• A keen attention to detail
• Experience working with children in a primary school setting or relevant experience working with children (e.g. youth club, private nanny, sports coaching, volunteering, childminding, tutoring)
• A relevant degree (e.g. English, Psychology, Performing Arts, Maths, Science) or relevant qualifications for working with children.
