Behaviour Mentor
Are you passionate about making a difference in children’s lives but lack the qualifications or experience to start your career in education? Ortus Recruitment is currently searching for a dedicated and compassionate individual to become a role model and mentor to primary school pupils as a Behavior Mentor.
We offer a personalized mentoring service to help schools increase pupil attainment through our intervention programs. As a Behavior Mentor, you will play a crucial role in helping challenging students overcome their behavioral issues by being a positive role model and providing them with someone to confide in and trust.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Establishing productive working relationships with your key pupils and encouraging and motivating them
- Raising achievement by providing a specialist service that assists schools in meeting their targets and obligations
- Being a friend and confidant to a student with behavioral issues
- Challenging and motivating pupils, promoting and reinforcing self-esteem and providing levels of individual pastoral support.
This is a great opportunity for career progression and to gain some experience before doing a PGCE. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to be an inspirational role model and mentor to a disadvantaged young person.
