We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our KS2 team at our school in Morden, London. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality education to our KS2 students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons
• Providing small group and one-to-one support to students to help them reach their full potential
• Collaborating with the class teacher to plan and prepare materials and resources that align with the curriculum
• Supporting the development of students’ literacy and numeracy skills through differentiated instruction
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
• Keeping accurate records and monitoring students’ progress to inform instruction
• Communicating effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure student success
• Supporting the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) for students with additional needs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
• Experience working with KS2 students
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A team player with the ability to work collaboratively
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and a growth mindset
