Attention all teaching assistants! We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated teaching assistant to join our Year 1 class at a primary school in Croydon.

As a teaching assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons to our Year 1 students. You will work closely with the teacher to differentiate instruction and provide individualized support for students who need it.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the class teacher with preparing materials and setting up activities
• Supporting individual students or small groups with their learning
• Helping to maintain a positive and safe learning environment
• Assisting with assessment and record-keeping
• Supporting the social and emotional development of students

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent
• Previous experience working with young children in a primary school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive and proactive attitude
• The ability to work as part of a team
