As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and well-being of our students with special educational needs and disabilities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing individualized support to students with special needs in the classroom
- Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement effective individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Working closely with speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support for students
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students
- Assisting with administrative tasks and communicating effectively with parents.
We are looking for someone with:
- A minimum of a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification
- Extensive experience working with children with special needs, including experience with specific conditions such as autism, ADHD, or learning disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Word and Excel.
