ORTUS RECRUITMENT are actively seeking a University Graduate to begin an exciting journey working in one of our mainstream primary schools located in the lovely area on Sydenham.

The ideal candidate:

• Passionate about working in the education industry and alongside pupils in a school setting
• Experience working with children in a school or social setting
• Minimum 2:2 in relevant degree
• Strong academic background
• Confident working 1:1 and in small groups leading English, Math and Reading interventions
• Ability to promote positive emotional, social and personal development

In this role, you will be responsible for working alongside a class teacher and other support staff within a year 3 class. The school are looking for a proactive candidate who is able to follow instructions as well as have the ability to work off of their own initiative. You will be required to assist the class teacher in preparing and setting out activities and tasks for the pupils to complete as well as assisting them in completing said tasks. You will be responsible for supervising the children in the lunch hall and in the playground ensuring a safe working environment.

• £80 – £95 per day
• Full time, Long term
• ASAP Start
