Ortus Recruitment are looking for an enthusiastic teaching assistant who has experience working with children who have difficulty with their speech and language. The school has a friendly environment which makes the children feel more comfortable making mistakes and learning from them because they are supported by a group of hard working teachers.

What the job role will include :

• Helping children with their reading and pronunciation of words they are struggling with.
• Supporting children within a classroom, at break and lunch
• Keeping record of the children’s progress, highlighting areas where they need to improve
• Working one to one with students outside of lessons
• Helping teachers manage class behaviour
