Ortus recruitment are searching for a highly educated teaching assistant who has had experience working with children who have difficulty with their speech and language skills. The individual applying for this role will be helping children develop their communication skills, through different learning activities, such as reading and interacting with you peers. You will be working one to one with students assisting them with their daily learning activities, and finding engaging tasks to help them with their spelling and pronunciation of words they are struggling with. The role will also include keeping record of the students progress, and highlighting their areas they need to improve on, then going over these areas again so they gain a better understanding. Making sure the children’s needs are met are important as well, therefore you will need to make sure their needs are met.
