A mainstream primary school, located in Richmond, are seeking an enthusiastic teaching assistant with experience working with children who have speech and language difficulties.

The role will include working 1:1 with students within a classroom and outside of the classroom supporting them with their reading and writing. You will also be keeping record of their progress, highlighting the areas they need to improve on, and helping them within these areas. To succeed in this role you will need to have the ability to maintain a patient manner towards the children, and be calm in stressful situations. You will also need excellent communication skills so the students find it easy to understand and respond back to you.
