The role :

• Full time – long term
• Monday – Friday
• 8:30am-4pm
• Location : Raynes Park
• PAYE – (£80-£90)
• Immediate start

What will your job role include :

• Supervise and provide learning support for student with or without special educational needs.
• Create and maintain a safe, friendly environment for the children to learn in.
• Help the class teachers prepare lessons, handing out equipment and manage the class behaviour.
• Encourage pupils to interact with each other and during the lesson.
• Ensure the students emotional, physical and social welfare is being looked after.

What skills are required for this role :

• A strong understanding of the Primary curriculum, child development and learning.
• The ability to give constructive feedback to pupils in a way where in reinforces their esteem.
• Excellent communication skills
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situation and respond to challenging behaviour in an appropriate manner.
