Here at Ortus Recruitment, we are working with a Mainstream Primary School located in Mitcham. The school is Oftsed rating ‘Good’ and are seeking an Unqualified Teaching Assistant to begin a full time – long term role.

Based in Mitcham, the school is renowned for its fantastic staff team and their dedicated pupils, always willing to achieve their full potential. The school is easy to commute to due to easy access to public transport.

The role :

• Position: Unqualified Teaching Assistant
• Location: Mitcham
• Full time – long term
• 8:30am – 4pm
• £80-£90 – per day

Within this role the ideal candidate will be required to support a year 2 class, working within small groups of students, within the classroom, supporting them with their numeracy and literacy skills. You will also be helping the class teacher with planning lessons, preparing the classroom, and managing the class behaviour.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, young adult or adults with SEN or who are vulnerable. The school are looking for someone who is naturally naturing when it comes to working with children, and is passionate about making a difference in their education.
