Ortus Recruitment are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic Speech and Language Teaching Assistant ready to commit to a full time – long term role, from 8:30am-4pm, with an hour lunch. The school is in close proximately to public transport which makes it easy to commute to.

The role :

• Position : Speech and Language Teaching Assistant
• Location : Hampton Wick
• Full time – long term
• Immediate start
• £80-£90 per day

Your responsibilities :

• Working one to one with students – helping them with their spelling and pronunciation of words.
•  Supporting children within the classroom, break and lunch
• Collaborating with teachers to ensure that children’s needs are met
•  Monitoring and tracking children’s progress to ensure they are making good progress and adjusting the lessons so they can improve in areas they are struggling with
• Encouraging the students to interact with their peers so they build up their self – esteem.
