Ortus Recruitment are working with a mainstream primary school in Hampton North and they are seeking a motivated Classroom Assistant, ready to commit to a full time – long term role. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in a professional setting and a strong academic background, including good numeracy and literacy skills.

The role :

• Position: Classroom Assistant
• Location : Hampton North
• Full time – long term
• Immediate start
• 8: 30am-4:00pm (hour lunch)
• £80-£90 per day
  
  

Within this role you will be supporting children, within the classroom, with their numeracy, literacy and concentration skills. You will also be helping the teachers prepare, plan and deliver the lessons, ensuring that all students are engaged and understand what is being taught. Another responsibility will be to ensure that the students emotional, physical and social welfare is being looked after.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum, and have an emotional approach towards each student. You should also have clear communication skills so they students find it easy to respond back to you and understand what you are teaching them.
