The roles and responsibilities within this role are to assist the class teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for pupils. You will be required to support individuals, or small groups during classroom activities and ensure the understand the task and they’re engaged with the work. You will need to liaise with the Class Teacher in order to implement and deliver effective lesson plans. You will be required to assist with the classroom management and reinforce positive behaviour.

To be considered for this role you will need a strong academic background, degree educated or equivalent. Experience working with children in a care, residential, school or social setting. You need to be passionate about working alongside children and dedicated to helping them develop life skills.
