Ortus recruitment are looking to recruit a motivated Behaviour Mentor looking to commit to a full time – long term role, in a mainstream primary school in Mitcham. The ideal candidate should have experience working with children with challenging behaviour in a professional setting.

The role:

• Position: Behaviour Mentor
• Location: Mitcham
• Full time – long term
• Immediate start
• 8:30am-4:00pm (hour lunch break)

Requirements

• Must have experience supporting children in a care, residential, school or social setting
• Must have experience managing challenging behaviour or have completed relevant CPD courses
• Must be passionate about working alongside children and dedicated to helping them develop important life skills such as emotional, mental and social skills
• Must be patient and resilient as this role can be challenging
• Must be able to easily build a positive rapport with pupils and staff
