SEN Teaching Assistant | Kingston | Full time – long term | Immediate start
Ortus recruitment are looking to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant to commit to a full time – long term role in a mainstream primary school in Kingston. The ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, a calm and patient manner and the ability to work in a team.
The role:
- Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
- Location: Kingston
- Full time – long term
- Immediate start
- PAYE £80-£90
- Monday – Friday (8:30am-4:00pm)
You will be responsible for working 1:1 with a student who has SEMH, to help them overcome barriers and positive social, emotional and academic development is being implemented.
The successful candidate will:
- Be assertive, patient and motivating
- Manage behaviour effectively
- Promote positive social, emotional and personal development
- Have experience working with children with SEN
- Have a strong academic background – Level 3 qualified or Degree educated
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
