We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team in Croydon. The successful candidate will work alongside our experienced teaching staff to provide support to students and ensure that the classroom environment is conducive to learning.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the teacher in delivering lessons and providing one-on-one support to students who require additional help
• Help to maintain a positive and safe learning environment
• Support the teacher with the planning and preparation of lessons and learning resources
• Assist with the assessment and recording of student progress
• Liaise with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and behavior
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required

Requirements:

• Experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar role
• A relevant qualification in teaching or education
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work as part of a team and use your own initiative
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
