Ortus Recruitment are working with a mainstream primary school in Surbiton and they are recruiting a candidate to commit to a full time – long term role as a classroom assistant. The ideal candidate should have more than a years’ experience working with children, specifically in a professional setting and should also have a fully enhanced DBS or willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment.

Within this role you will be supporting the class teacher, prepare, plan and deliver lessons ensuring that they meet the primary curriculum. You will also be responsible for monitoring and keeping record of the pupils profess and behaviour to ensure they are reaching their full potential. Not only will you be supporting children within the classroom but at break and lunch as well, ensuring their physical, social and emotional needs are being met.
