Ortus Recruitment is working closely with our partnered mainstream primary school based in Tulse Hill, who seek for an experienced 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support a child in a KS2 class with Autism. The primary school has an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rating, an amazing facility, and great transport links. This role is a full-time position, and the successful candidates will be able to start immediately or start in September.

Requirements:

• A degree or relevant qualifications in Education, Maths, English, Sciences, Psychology, Drama, or Performing Arts or related field
• Strong understanding of working with children/ young people, e.g., Youth Work, Mentoring, Tutoring, Childcare, Voluntarily
• Experience working with ASD/ASC
• Great communication and time management skills
• Patience, kindness and passion for helping others
• Availability for trial/interview
• Available to work from Monday – Friday (08:30am – 16:00pm)
