Ortus Recruitment are currently working with a mainstream primary school in Streatham, who are seeking for experienced and passionate Classroom Assistant to join their team immediately. The primary school has an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted report and now they are seeking for a classroom assistant to support the class after half-term.

The ideal candidate:

• 1 year experience working with children/ young people in a professional environment, e.g., Youth Work | Mentoring | Tutoring | Childcare | Voluntarily
• Degrees in Maths, English, Sciences, Psychology, Education, Drama and Performing Arts are ideal, we welcome applicants with degrees beyond this or relevant qualifications for working with children
• Be friendly, confident, outgoing, reliable and be a positive role model
• A genuine interest and passion working with young vulnerable pupil
• Be available full-time (Monday-Friday 8.30am-4pm)
