As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for the well-being and support of a designated group of students, ensuring that they are thriving and enjoying their school life. You will monitor their behaviour and learning closely, identifying techniques to improve their performance and progress.
Collaboration with the class teacher is a key aspect of this role. You will work together to plan and prepare lessons, tailoring them to the specific needs of your designated students. You will also provide additional support to other students in the class as necessary.
This mainstream primary school boasts a friendly team of staff, a dedicated Senior Leadership Team, and a range of facilities and activities to enhance the students’ learning experience. The school has been graded “good” by Ofsted and operates as a two-form entry institution.
To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience working with children, be comfortable supporting SEN students, and be confident in working across the primary curriculum. Availability for full-time work is a must.
