A ‘Good’ Ofsted rated primary school based in Oval are seeking an experienced, creative Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their close-knit team for the next academic year (September 2023/24). You will be joining a passionate, and committed team, who embrace the principles of practical academic learning across the key stage. We are looking for a reliable team player who is enthusiastic and shows understanding with all children in both group and 1:1 situations.

Requirements:

• A degree or relevant qualifications in Education, Maths, English, Sciences, Psychology, Drama, or Performing Arts or related field
• Experience working as a teaching assistant in a primary school setting (desirable, not essential)
• A good understanding of the national curriculum and the ability to work across different key stages
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work flexibly and adapt to different classroom environments
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
