Ortus Recruitment are currently working with a Primary School in Croydon who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support a year 3 class which has several pupils with SEND.

The SLT are looking for someone who has classroom-based experience with SEND knowledge (ASC and ADHD preferably). This school offers a fantastic support system and has excellent equipment to help facilitate pupils learning, this role would be great for someone seeking a new long-term, full-time role within the new academic year.

For this Year 3 Teaching Assistant role you will:

• Help the Teacher plan, prepare and deliver lessons
• Support any identified pupils closely with their work
• Take small groups for additional lesson focused support
• Carry out admin tasks such as marking, register etc
• Help during break and lunch time

The SLT are looking for someone who:

• Is eager and willing to commit to a long-term, full-time role
• Has classroom based experience
• Has SEND knowledge
• Bubbly, enthusiastic personality
• Confident working on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Clear written and spoken communicator
