An ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rated primary school in are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Graduate Teaching Assistant with the skills, experience and passion to work as part of a dynamic team who nurture the dreams and aspirations of students. We are looking for graduate teaching assistants who have passion, who are forward thinking and who love working with children. Good literacy and numeracy skills are essential and experience in a school environment is preferred.
The school is looking to appoint someone to join in September 2023. As a member of our staff, you will be instrumental in laying the foundation of outstanding standards of education and creating a stimulating and purposeful environment where our children can make excellent progress. We are seeking passionate and driven individuals with good communication and organisational skills and a desire to make a difference to the lives of children at the school and their communities.
Responsibilities
- To assist teaching staff to plan and prepare lessons and resources within the school curriculum.
- To make and prepare resources for teaching staff.
- To reinforce targets throughout the school day.
- To support students both within the class and during unstructured situations.
- To follow school procedures in reporting incidents and safeguarding concerns.
- To act as a resource and support for other staff members working with the children.
- To participate in supervision and support as required.
- To maintain continuous professional development.
