Ortus Recruitment are working with an amazing primary school in Wimbledon and they are looking for a motivated EYFS Teaching Assistant to commit to a full time-long term role in their autism base.

The role:

• Position: EYFS Teaching Assistant
• Location: Wimbledon
• Full time-long term
• September start
• PAYE £80-£90

Responsibilities:

• Find new strategies to teach the lesson to make it easier for the students to understand.
• Help the children with personal care
• Support the class teacher in managing class behaviour
• Develop and implement behaviour strategies
• Encourage children to interact with their peers to boost their self – esteem

Requirements:

• A fully enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment (£52).
• Experience working with children with autism
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
