Ortus recruitment are looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) in the area of Wandsworth within a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU). Inside the PRU you’ll be working with a group of 6 children inside a classroom. The children you’ll be working with are not able to attend mainstream schools due to behavioural difficulties, however they’re very excited  to learn and socialise with others.

This is a full-time, long-term role which means you’ll be working Monday-Friday from 8:30 am – 4:00pm.

What you will be doing

This is a promising role for anyone trying to adapt their skills. All children inside the school will struggle from Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) this means that interacting and creating a bond with these children is very important to do.

This is a good opportunity to help support children and really make an impact in their life by helping them socialise and interact with other children.
