Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant – behaviour mentor who is hunting for a long-term role in a primary school?

A fantastic mainstream primary school based in Brixton are seeking for an experienced behaviour mentor to support a KS2 class immediately. Our partnered school has a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating and is based in a great location with multiple transport links. The staff at the school are very welcoming and will provide you with all the tools you will need to thrive in the position. This is an amazing opportunity for candidates who want to gain invaluable experience in a primary school setting.

Requirements:

• A degree or relevant qualifications in Education, Maths, English, Sciences, Psychology, Drama, or Performing Arts or related field
• Previous experience in a PRU/similar setting is desired (not essential)
• Experience working as a teaching assistant in a primary school setting (desirable, not essential)
• Has previous experience and a passion for working with children with behavioural needs
• Has excellent communication skills, patience, and resilience
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
