SEN Teaching Assistant.
Location – Richmond.
Ortus recruitment are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work inside a Special Education Needs School (SEN). We’re looking for a passionate induvial who can develop the children’s learning, you will need to be well educated on Special Needs difficulties. These children will have a wide range of difficulties, this includes Autism (ASC/ADC), Down’s Syndrome, Global Delay and many more. The teaching assistant role means you will take 1:1 and group activities with the children, you will need to be a good organiser and make sure that you can deal with a group of children inside a class-room type environment.

This Special Education Needs School (SEN) is very reputable in the local area, the staff are extremely friendly and approachable. They have brilliant resources which will help you enhance the children’s learning experience. The staff are supportive and helpful, so adapting to this school will be fairly easy for the successful candidate. It’s located in the heart of Richmond so there are good transport links both bus and train.
You’ll be helping the teacher set-up group activities for the children to interact with each-other as well as 1:1 activities with children. Your goal will be to make group activities fun so the kids start to bond with each other.

Job Details.
Ortus recruitment want somebody who will be able to work full-time and be a long-term candidate.
•Salary – £80-£95 per day, paid weekly. (PAYEE)
•Schedule – Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm.
