A ‘Good’ Ofsted rated primary school based in Wandsworth now seeks an experience Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately in October to support an EYFS/KS1 class. The school seeks a candidate who is passionate about working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). This role is a full-time vacancy (Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4pm).

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing 1:1/group support for the child with ASC in their academic studies.
• Supporting the child in their social activities, including facilitating communication and interactions with peers.
• Monitoring and tracking progress the child and communicating with their parents/guardians, teachers, and other relevant staff.
• Assisting with the development of strategies and accommodations to support the learning and success
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of student progress and interventions.

Qualifications:

• Graduate (degree program related to education, psychology, or a related field).
• Experience working with individuals with ASC is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
