If you have a sporty background and a natural ability to connect with students, we have the perfect role for you. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and guiding students, using your sports expertise to engage and inspire them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with students who may be facing behavioural challenges and provide one-on-one mentoring.
- Utilize your sports knowledge to create engaging activities and programs that promote teamwork, discipline, and personal development.
- Foster positive relationships with students, helping them build confidence and resilience.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop tailored strategies for students’ behavioural and academic improvement.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing regular updates
Qualifications:
- A background in sports and a genuine passion for using sports as a means of mentorship and personal development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to students of varying ages and backgrounds.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- The capacity to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.
