Ortus Recruitment are currently searching for a quality SEN Teaching Assistant to support reception pupils for an immediate start. The school will be located in Finsbury, Haringey borough which is an excellent location, as it has many transport links allowing east access from the rest of the city. Aside from working with the child on a one-to-one basis, you will be working alongside an outstanding and experienced class teachers, helping to deliver fun and engaging lessons to pupils of mixed abilities and backgrounds.

Requirements / EYFS Teaching Assistant:

• Education and Qualifications: A minimum of A level or equivalent
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant certifications in special education or SEN
• Knowledge of the EYFS
• Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is often preferred.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Adaptability and Flexibility
• Safeguarding and First Aid
• Team Teach (desirable)
• An enhanced DBS
