Ortus Recruitment are working with a mainstream primary school in Isleworth and they are searching for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to commit to a full time-long term role. To apply for this role you will need to be available Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm, with availability to start immediately.

Roles and Responsibilities

• You will need to collaborate with teachers to create a positive and engaging learning environment
• You need to be confident and prepared to assist during emergencies or incidents, ensuing the safety and well-being of students
• You will work alongside the class teacher to manage class behaviour within the classroom and implement the school behaviour management strategies
• Assisting in the preparation of learning materials, setting up classrooms, and maintaining a clean and tidy environment
• You will need to undertake administrative duties such as marking classwork or homework, as well as updating and removing display boards.

Requirements for this position:

• Experience working as  Teaching Assistant in a school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy and a genuine passion for working with children
• A strong academic background, A minimum grade C in GCSE English and Maths
