The team at Ortus Recruitment are looking for an experienced Classroom Assistant to become part of the team at an amazing primary school located in Twickenham.

About the role:

As a Classroom Assistant, you will be responsible for working with students with learning difficulties, supporting them during lessons, ensuring they are staying focused and participating. You will also be working alongside the class teacher planning, preparing and delivering lessons that meet the needs of all students. Not only will you be supporting children inside the classroom but during breaks and lunch as well, making sure they are happy and safe.

Skills needed for this role:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices
• Comfortable supporting SEN
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related qualification
