We are currently recruiting for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join the team in a mainstream primary school in the London Borough of Barnet.
Ortus Recruitment is excited to announce an opportunity for a graduate who has studied within the field of education, psychology or other relevant subjects to take on the fulfilling role of KS1/KS2 Teaching Assistant in a lovely, inclusive Primary School.
The school is passionate and dedicated to the education and development of all its pupils and needs a Teaching Assistant who shares the same ethos and values. The successful candidate will be; charismatic, proactive and committed to contributing to quality learning. This Teaching Assistant role will also involve the opportunity to work on a 1:1 basis with children with Additional Needs and lead interventions with small groups.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a minimum 2:2 degree in Maths, English, Sciences, Psychology, Education or other relevant subject
- Have experience working with children in a KS2 classroom environment
- Be friendly, confident, assertive, reliable and dedicated to being a positive role model
- A genuine interest and passion for supporting children in their social, emotional and academic development
- Have a strong academic background with the ability to lead core subject interventions
