Year 1 Teaching Assistant | Sutton | Immediate Start | £80-£100

A wonderful Primary School in Sutton are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to support within their Year 1 class.

This class is made up of 28 pupils with a bubbly Class Teacher, and another friendly Teaching Assistant. Your role will involve working closely with pupils who need extra support with their class work and/or with SEN pupils who have EHCP’s. In addition to this, you will assist with carrying out general admin tasks and preparation of lessons.

The headteacher is looking for someone who has previous experience working with children of the Primary age range, ideally, within a classroom setting. SEN knowledge is desirable for this role, but not essential you just must be comfortable working on a 1:1 basis.

Requirements…

– Hold a fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service – or be willing to process a new application

– Hold right to work in the UK

– Provide recent and relevant references

– Be available full-time

– Be willing to commit to a long-term, full-time role
