Ortus Recruitment is looking for an experienced special needs Teaching Assistant to assist a KS1 pupil in one of our client schools. The mainstream school is located in World’s End, London borough of Enfield. It’s a very lovely and diverse area and is filled with many activities, restaurants, and cafes nearby.

What are your responsibilities?

• Must work one-on-one with a child with learning difficulties and ADHD
• You will also work with the classroom teacher and help them with tasks
• You will run interventions with small groups or one-to-one
• Able to attend to their emotional needs

What are the requirements?

• Must be able to work full-time
• Must have 3-6 months experience with a child with SEN
• Must have a enhanced DBS
• Must be caring and nurturing
• Need to adapt to the Childs needs
