Our partnered primary school now seeks a psychology graduate teaching assistant to join their team for the academic year. The role is a full-time position role starting in November.

We are particularly interested in those who are looking towards a career as an SEN Teacher, Clinical Psychologist, Educational Psychologist or Speech and Language Therapist. You will have the opportunity to support young people with ASD, ADHD and SEMH needs and work alongside qualified Counsellors, Therapists, Teachers which will enable you to build your career.

The Opportunity:

• Psychology Graduate teaching Assistants
• Aspiring educational or clinical psychologists/ SEN Teachers
• 1:1 & Small Group work
• Primary school – rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted
• London Borough of Lambeth
• Full-time role – Monday – Friday
• £80 – £100 per day PAYE

Key Responsibilities:

• Working alongside the class teacher to support children who need support in the classroom.
• Supporting children with an EHCP alongside the SEN team
• Leading sessions outside of the classroom with children both 1-1 and small groups
• Planning and resourcing intervention sessions
• Working alongside other professionals to assess children
