The role:

• Position: Learning Support Assistant
• Location: Kingston
• Full time-long term
• Immediate start
• PAYE £80-£90
• Monday-Friday

As a Learning Support Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic and social development of pupils.

You will be responsible for providing one to one support to pupils who require additional support with their learning

You will need to assist the class teacher in developing and implementing learning plans for students; setting achievable goals and monitoring their progress.

You will need to adapt teaching styles and strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities

You will also be required to facilitate small group sessions to reinforce classroom instruction and assist pupils in learning essential skill.

Must have:

• You must have an enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment – £52
• You will need to have two obtainable childcare relevant references
• You will need to have a Minimum Grade C in GCSE English and Maths

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children in a care, residential, school or social setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping children
• An understanding of diverse learning needs and strategies to address them.
