A ‘Good’ Ofsted rated primary school based in Streatham is dedicated to providing an outstanding education for students, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to join a professional and dedicated team on a full-time basis (Monday to Friday, 08:30am – 4pm).

As a Teaching Assistant our partnered primary school you will have the opportunity to work with students in our primary phase, either in mainstream classrooms or providing focused individual support, often on a one-to-one basis. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Provide individualized support to students, adapting to their specific needs.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement effective teaching strategies.
• Promote positive behaviour and social development.
• Assist with planning and preparing educational resources.
• Encourage and motivate students to reach their full potential.
• Attend relevant training and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement.

Requirements:

• Minimum of GCSE Grade C/4 in English Language and Maths (or a recognized equivalent qualification).
• A degree or relevant qualifications in Education, Maths, English, Sciences, Psychology, Drama, or Performing Arts or related field
• A desire and passion to work with children, especially those with special educational needs.
• Experience working with young people in an education setting (preferred but not mandatory).
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of our students.
• Any subject or specialism that may help match you to student needs.
