Ortus Recruitment are seeking an experienced 1:1 Challenging Behaviour Teaching Assistant, to join a thriving primary school in Ruislip, London Borough of Hillingdon.

Our partner school is a mainstream Primary school, with a recent “Good” Ofsted report, a fantastic reputation in the local area and great resources.

This Year 5 Challenging Behaviour position is:

• A Long Term, Full-Time position
• Based in Ruislip, London Borough of Hillingdon
• Based in a Successful primary school
• ASAP Start
• Pays £95 – £100 per day (PAYE) based on experience

This vacancy is designed for a proactive and reliable Teaching Assistant who holds a level 3 qualification or has gained a 2:1 in their degree and has previously worked with SEN children.

As a Challenging Behaviour Teaching Assistant, the successful applicant will support the progress of a Year 5 pupil who has Autism.

***He has a tendency to lash out both verbally and physically***

We are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants who:

• Have 3-6 months SEN experience with a Autistic experience
• Is comfortable with challenging behaviour
• Can establish clear boundaries with a firm but fair approach
• Having Team Teach is an advantage
