Ortus Recruitment are looking for a Learning Support Assistant in the area of Isleworth. The children you are working with are not able to attend mainstream schools due to behavioural difficulties, however they’re very excited to earn and socialise with others.

This is a full time, long term role which means you’ll be working Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:00pm.

• £85-£90 per day, paid weekly

Duties:

• Provide support and assistance to individuals with special needs, including children with autism
• Assist in implementing individualised education plans and behaviour intervention plans
• Support individuals in developing and improving their communication skills
• Help create a safe and inclusive environment for all individuals
• Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure the well -being and progress of each individual
• Assist with daily activities, such as personal care, mealtime and recreational activities.

Additional Skills:

• Experience in toddler care
• Knowledge of evidence-based strategies for working with individuals with autism
• Ability to educate and support families in understanding the needs of their child
• Familiarity with assistive technology and communication devices
