Job Summary:

· Immediate Start, ongoing throughout the academic year

· £90 – £100 per day PAYE

Here at Ortus Recruitment we are seeking an enthusiastic unqualified behaviour mentor to join one of our Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ schools, located in the London Borough of Lewisham, Sydenham. This is an amazing role which offers career progression and CPD/ Teacher training courses.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

· A clear enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment – £52

· A minimum of two obtainable childcare relevant references

Roles and Responsibilities:

· You will be working 1:1 with pupils across KS2 who have challenging behaviour

· You will need to follow individual timetables and implement behaviour strategies to encourage the pupils to maintain a positive working attitude

· You will need to build a positive rapport with both staff and students

Requirements:

· A passion and desire to work with children and to support pupils with special educational needs

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· A patient and calm approach to working

· An understanding of the challenges and behaviours that may be displayed by pupils
