Learning Support Assistant (Primary) | Tooting | £85 – £100 PAYE | Full Time | Immediate Start

A reputable primary school based in Tooting are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to start as soon as possible. Our partnered mainstream primary school have a lovely team of staff who strive to bring out the best in pupils and need a motivated candidate to a child in KS1 1:1 with SEN within a mainstream classroom.

If you have experience as a Learning Support Assistant or similar role and would like to work in a Primary setting, then this could be the role for you. The successful candidates will work collaboratively with teachers in relation to planning, pupil progress and assessment and will also work directly with pupils providing one to one or group support to pupils of all abilities. This includes planned sessions as well as responding to situations as they arise.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree or relevant qualifications in Education, Maths, English, Sciences, Psychology, Drama, or Performing Arts or related field
• Strong understanding of working with children/ young people, e.g., Youth Work, Mentoring, Tutoring, Childcare, Voluntarily
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to undergo a full Enhanced DBS check
